VAT is separated on every sale and invoice and the audit log records who did what, so the records are in the shape RRA expects. Direct EBM integration is on our roadmap; nothing needs re-keying when it arrives.

Does the POS work without internet?

Yes. The architecture is offline-first: sales are saved on the device and synced automatically when the connection returns, with receipt numbers in sequence. A power cut or a dead SIM does not close the till, and nothing queued is lost or duplicated.

How does the M-Pesa integration work?

Accepted Answer

It is native, not bolted on. With your Daraja credentials configured, the checkout pushes an STK prompt to the customer's phone; alternatively the cashier keys in the confirmation code from the customer's SMS. Both attach the payment to its sale automatically and reconcile against your statement.

Can it run a multi-branch operation on one account?

Yes — that is the design. Stock is tracked per branch, staff have their own PINs, and reports roll up per branch or across the business, so head office keeps centralized control while each location runs its own tills. Is NodePoint KRA eTIMS compliant?

Yes. Every sale files with KRA eTIMS automatically through DigiTax, a KRA-approved eTIMS integrator, and the receipt carries KRA's receipt number, signature and QR code. Voids and refunds file credit notes. Activation is per business: enter your KRA PIN and branch in Settings, request activation, and fiscalised receipts switch on — a setting, not a data migration.
